"Learn to Hoop" is an app that will take you from the very basics to a high level of hooping with clear, easy-to-follow instructions with video and text.

For over 15 years, Peachysteve has been teaching people juggling, object swinging and manipulation, and in that time has developed techniques to help people to easily understand how to go about learning new skills. "Learn to Hoop" will have you spinning your hoop in minutes, and addicted in just a few more.

Each move is shown from multiple angles. Slow motion sequences help to make things even clearer and there are step by step instructions for each move.

Subtitles show the instructions during the videos, and more detailed instructions are included separately for you to read at your leisure.

All videos are fully integrated into the app, so you can view them any time without the need for an internet connection.

Pros and cons of Learn to Hoop app for iPhone and iPad

Learn to Hoop app good for

This is an easy way to gain knowledge. It gives appropriate sized lessons that are quick to read do you can get to work and amaze yourself!
Its a really great App. All Instructions are very detailled and easy to understand
Thank you THANK YOU thank you! As fun as it is searching through YouTube for similar instructional videos I find I spend most of my time daydreaming about what I could be doing or pausing and replaying sequences that are poorly filmed (low light, poor sound, no slo-mo) - and now this app has everything I need to get off my sofa and start doing it properly. Great work!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!
I am a beginner and this app is easy to use, gives clear instructions in simple steps and it is a different approach which makes it refreshing to watch after so many standard hooping videos.

Some bad moments

The instructions are excellent and very clear. He has written directions, pictures, and video (which he slows down to illustrate points). You have to buy more advanced lessons, but the are only $0.99 for a dozen more. I will definitely being doing that once I get the basics down, which may take a while!! Thanks for putting this together.
I love this app! If you want to learn hula hooping or advance your skills, this app is a must have. Starting with recommendations about hoop size and weight you progress to controling the hoop from the hips to the neck. The written instructions are clear, concise and the accompanying videos are done by a virtuoso. Whether you are a visual or intellectual learner you will be able to progress at a good pace - at least I have. Your results may vary, Im only 67 so I learn fairly fast ;). TK wejuggle2
I just started hooping..PeachySteve shows you how to do the basics with detail and repetition from front and side views..I picked up new skills with my first practice session..I also tried moves I would not have tried without the encouragement of This App..
Im a beginner and have not seen a better video tutorial than this. He zooms in on important techniques that make or break the move and offers slow motion views. I have already learned alot. Definitely worth the money.
Or for anyone wanting to brush up on techniques and focus on solid basic moves!PeachySteve does a really good job demonstrating and breaking down the moves in the videos and even describes the actions in text as well. Best of all, no internet connection required so I can just take my ipad and my hoop(s) to the park and have a great afternoon playing.
This app stinks. You have to pay 99 cents for individual extra chapters. It only comes with three chapters that teach you how to basic waist hoop, hoop around your neck, and walk while hula hooping. It is a very poor and expensive app.
